Refund Policy
We have a simple, customer-friendly refund policy for your $1 reservation. Our goal is to make it easy for you to get your deposit back at any time, no questions asked. Here are the key points of our refund policy:
Full Refund Availability: Your $1 deposit is fully refundable. You can request a refund at any time before you make a final purchase or before the product is shipped – in fact, up until the point the project goes into production or fulfillment, you are entitled to get your $1 back for any reason. There’s no minimum waiting period or cutoff date prior to launch; we want you to feel confident that this is a risk-free reservation.
How to Request a Refund: To cancel your reservation and request your $1 back, simply contact us via email at support@example.com or use the order management link provided in your confirmation. We will process your cancellation and refund promptly, with no penalties or fees. (You don’t need to provide a reason for cancelling – whether you’ve had a change of heart or circumstances, we will honor the refund.)
Refund Processing Time: Once you request a refund, we will process it within a few business days. The $1 will be returned to the original payment method you used (e.g. the same credit card or PayPal account). Please note that depending on your bank or payment provider, it might take an additional 5–7 business days for the refunded amount to appear in your account. We will send you a confirmation when the refund has been issued.
Automatic Refunds for Project Non-Launch: If our project does not launch as planned or is canceled on our end, you don’t need to do anything to get your money back – we will proactively refund your $1 deposit in that case. We believe it’s only fair: since the $1 is meant as a show of interest, if we can’t proceed to an actual product launch, we’ll return all deposits to everyone.
No Deductions or Future Charges: Rest assured that this $1 is a one-time deposit. We will not automatically charge you anything else in the future. If you do choose to purchase/back the product at launch, that transaction will be separate and will require your authorization at that time. The $1 will not be deducted from the future product price – it remains separate (and refundable). Think of it as a completely risk-free placeholder to secure your early-bird opportunity, not an installment toward a payment.
Transparency and Fairness: Our refund policy is designed to be hassle-free and transparent. We won’t hide behind any fine print – a $1 reservation should be as straightforward to undo as it is to make. This approach follows the best practices of crowd-funding campaigns, where backers can cancel pledges easily before funds are collected. Support for Refund Issues: In the unlikely event you encounter any issues with receiving your refund (for example, if the $1 doesn’t appear back on your card after the stated timeframe), please reach out to support@example.com. We will work with you and the payment processor to resolve it as quickly as possible.
