Terms of Service

By placing a $1 reservation deposit on our pre-launch page, you agree to the following terms, which are designed to be clear and fair (in the spirit of Kickstarter-style campaigns):

  • Reservation Purpose (Not a Purchase): Your $1 payment is a refundable deposit to reserve your spot and show interest in our upcoming product launch. This deposit does not constitute a purchase of the product or any service, nor does it create a binding order for the product. In crowdfunding terms, it’s a pledge of support, not a traditional sale – a pledge is not a purchase of goods but rather a contribution to the project’s efforts.

  • No Product Guaranteed Yet: Because the $1 is only a placeholder of interest, it does not guarantee you will receive the product or any reward unless you take further action during the official launch. The deposit secures your status as an early supporter (often called a “VIP” or early backer) but is not a promise of delivery. You’ll have the opportunity to purchase or back the product at launch separately; this $1 simply ensures you’re first in line for any offers.

  • Early Access & Updates: In return for your early support, we will keep you informed with project updates and launch news. You’ll receive priority access to information such as launch dates, early-bird pricing, or exclusive perks available to early supporters. We are committed to transparency – we will be open about our progress throughout the campaign so you can make informed decisions. (For example, other pre-launch campaigns have used $1 deposits to measure demand and promised to keep supporters updated on development.)

  • No Obligation to Buy: You are not obligated to pledge or purchase the final product by making this reservation. If you decide not to back the project when it launches, that’s okay – you can cancel your reservation and get your $1 back (see Refund Policy below). Likewise, if the project proceeds, you’ll still need to actively pledge or order the product when it becomes available; the $1 deposit will not be automatically applied to any future purchase. (In other words, you’ll still pay the full price at launch if you choose to buy, since this $1 is a separate, symbolic commitment.)

  • One Per Customer: Each person is limited to one $1 reservation unless explicitly stated otherwise. A single deposit is all that’s needed to hold your spot; multiple deposits by the same individual may be canceled or refunded at our discretion to keep things fair (one deposit is sufficient per VIP customer).

  • Project Changes or Cancellation: If we significantly change the project timeline or decide not to launch the product, we will let you know as soon as possible. In the unlikely event that the project is cancelled or does not move forward, we will automatically refund all $1 deposits in full – you won’t be charged anything beyond that. Supporting this pre-launch effort is meant to be risk-free: if we cannot deliver on the plan, you get your money back.

  • Contact and Support: If you have any questions or concerns about this $1 reservation or the status of the project, please contact our support team at support@example.com. We’re here to provide transparency and answer your questions promptly, just as we would during a crowdfunding campaign.

By participating in this $1 pre-launch reservation, you acknowledge and accept these terms, which are designed to mirror the clear communication style of Kickstarter campaigns.
